Privacy Policy

Bal\u00e9qui ensures its users privacy and security in the data provided for the various services provided, with only the necessary data being requested and collected for the provision of the service in accordance with the explicit indications on the portal and the user’s options. If requested, the data subject has the right to obtain access, rectification or deletion of the data provided.

Next, we present the information handling practices we have adopted at Bal\u00e9qui, including the way in which information is collected, used and with whom it is shared.
As part of the registration with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD), we assume the following commitments to users of Bal\u00e9qui:

Proceed with the processing of data in a lawful and fair manner, collecting only the necessary and pertinent information for the purpose for which it is intended;
Allow the data subject to access and correct the information about himself \/ herself, transmitting it in clear language and strictly corresponding to the content of the record;

Respect professional secrecy in relation to the data processed;

Collection of Personal Data

In general, Bal\u00e9qui can be visited without having to reveal any personal information. There are, however, areas of the portal where we need users to provide their personal data in order to take advantage of the services available there.
The services of Bal\u00e9qui that require the introduction of personal data or referring to the respective entities, triggered by the initiative or expression of interest of the users, are:

The data collected by Bal\u00e9qui are entered into the computer system that handles them, where they will be processed automatically under the terms approved by CNPD, with the data being used for the management of the website’s services.

All employees of the responsible entity are covered by an obligation of confidentiality in relation to the data to which they have access in the scope of the operations of the respective computer base, being duly informed of the importance of complying with this legal duty of secrecy and being responsible for the fulfillment of that obligation of confidentiality.

Bal\u00e9qui stores information and has the possibility of accessing information stored on the user’s terminal equipment, through cookies, only when the user has given his prior consent, before the installation of cookies, through an active behavior and through a free decision, based on clear and complete information in the terms explained below, namely on the purpose of processing.
Only the user’s prior consent will be waived to install cookies, for technical storage or access to information stored on a user’s terminal equipment, whose sole purpose is to transmit a communication through an electronic communications network, or that is strictly necessary for Bal\u00e9qui provide a service expressly requested by the user.
